I. Typ av information vi samlar in och hur vi använder den

Search Marketing använder web beacons i sitt nätverk för att räkna antalet användare och för att känna igen användare. Om cookies nekas av en användare kommer teknologin för web beacon fortfarande vara aktiv men kommer inte att kunna länka någon specifik webbläsares aktiviteter från en session till en annan.

(c) Annan användning av cookies och web beacons

Yahoo! Search Marketing erbjuder Annonsörer verktyg som tillåter dem att bättre förstå utfallet av deras marknadsföringskampanjer on-line hos Yahoo! Search Marketing (“Yahoo! Search Marketing Analytic Tools”).

För att använda dessa Yahoo! Search Marketing Analytic Tools behöver en Annonsör placera dessa Yahoo! Search Marketing Analytic Tools web beacons på deras webbsidor. Dessa web beacons är elektroniska filer som tillhandahålls av perf.overture.com eller yahoo.com och som möjliggör för Yahoo! Search Marketing att via cookies samla in anonym information från besökare på annonsörernas webbsidor. Sådana web beacons samlar endast in anonym och icke-identifierbar information och URL’n för den webbsida där aktuellt web beacon är placerat. Yahoo! Search Marketing lagrar information separat för varje annonsör.

Den information som samlas in används för att skapa sammanställningar för våra annonsörer. Ingen information på enskild nivå lämnas ut av Yahoo! Search Marketing.

Utöver vad som anges ovan kan leverantörer av Yahoo! Search Marketings e-post använda web beacons och cookies inom e-postmeddelanden i HTML som skickas på vårt uppdrag.

(d) Opt-out

Du kan välja att du inte vill att Yahoo! Search Marketing skall använda information som samlas in enligt punkt (c) ovan genom att välja Opt out. För att göra detta val måste din webbläsare vara inställd så att den tillåter cookies.

Notera att denna möjlighet till Opt-out gäller för en specifik webbläsare och inte en speciell användare. 4. Marknadsföring och tävlingar

Från tid till annan kan Yahoo! Search Marketing sponsra eller ansvara för marknadsföring och tävlingar där vi samlar in uppgifter om dig. Information om användningen och utlämnandet av dessa uppgifter kommer att finnas i bestämmelserna för marknadsföringen eller på den hemsida där du anmäler dig.

5. IP adresser och annan information som är specifik för din dator

Yahoo! Search Marketing samlar in IP-uppgifter när du besöker våra Webbsidor. Utöver sådana uppgifter samlar Yahoo! • tillhandahålla anpassad marknadsföring och anpassade tjänster till användare baserat på deras IP-adress,
• kontrollera bedräglig aktivitet,
• diagnostisera tjänste- eller tekniska problem som hänför sig till IP-adresserna kontrollerade av ett särskilt webbolag eller en särskild Internetoperatör och som anmälts av användare eller tekniker,
• tillhandahålla analyser avseende användare från ett specifikt land eller region i världen;
• logga en förfrågan på våra servers när en Yahoo! Search Marketings webbsida begärs eller visas med information, innefattande IP-adressen, om den dator som begär webbsidan.

II. Utlämnande av uppgifter

Yahoo! Search Marketing kan komma att lämna ut information om dig om Yahoo! förvärvas av, förvärvar eller fusioneras med, annat bolag. Om så sker kommer Yahoo! att meddela dig innan information om dig lämnas ut och du kommer därmed att bli föremål för en annan integritetspolicy.

I. Types of information we collect and how we use it

For persons signing up to the Yahoo! Search Marketing Advertiser Terms and Conditions (“Advertisers”), Yahoo! Search Marketing may collect business contact information and other information about you, such as your name, email address, telephone number and address and other work-related information.

2. Email addresses and related information

There may be opportunities for visitors to the Sites to sign-up to receive email communications by opting in to receive email marketing messages. Visitors may subscribe by providing an email address and other requested information and agreeing to Yahoo! Search Marketing’s use of information about them in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We may use the information provided by visitors and Advertisers to send them information about other products and services provided by Yahoo! Search Marketing and our group companies offering Yahoo! products and services, provided that you have consented to receive such information. We may use a sub-contractor acting on our behalf (eg a supplier of email delivery services) to send you such information. Recipients of email marketing messages will have the opportunity to unsubscribe from future messages from Yahoo! Search Marketing or third parties acting on behalf of Yahoo! Search Marketing via the link(s) provided within the relevant message. For the avoidance of doubt, Yahoo! Search Marketing will ensure that under its contract with Yahoo! any such third party is obliged to: provide guarantees of security; act only on Yahoo! Search Marketing's instructions; and comply with the same security requirements which apply to Yahoo! Search Marketing.

There may be opportunities for visitors to the Site to use other Yahoo! Search Marketing products or services for which information about you is required. This information will be used in accordance with any applicable privacy policy and/or terms of service.

3. Cookies and web beacons

When you visit the Sites, cookies and web beacons will be used as follows:

(a) Cookies

(b) Web beacons

Web pages may contain an electronic file, called a web beacon, that allows a web site to count users who have visited that page or to access certain cookies. Yahoo! Search Marketing uses web beacons within its network in order to count users and to recognise users by accessing Yahoo! Search Marketing cookies. If cookies are rejected by the end user, the web beacon tracking technology will still operate but will not be able to link a specific browser’s activities from one session to another session.

(c) Other uses of Cookies and web beacons

Yahoo! Search Marketing offers Advertisers tools that allow them to better understand the performance of their online marketing campaigns with Yahoo! Search Marketing (“Yahoo! Search Marketing Analytic Tools”).

To use these Yahoo! Search Marketing Analytic Tools, an Advertiser may add Yahoo! Search Marketing Analytic Tools web beacons to their web sites. These web beacons are electronic files served by either perf.overture.com or yahoo.com that enable Yahoo! Search Marketing to collect anonymous information from visitors to the Advertiser's sites via cookies. These web beacons collect only anonymous non-personally identifiable information and the URL of the web page where the web beacon is located. Yahoo! Search Marketing maintains data separately for each Advertiser. The data collected are used to create aggregate reports for our advertising clients. No individual level data is shared with the Advertiser.

In addition to the above, Yahoo! Search Marketing 's email delivery vendor may employ web beacons and cookies within HTML email messages sent on our behalf.

(d) Opt-out

If you choose, you may opt-out from the collection of the information referred to in (c) above by going to Opt out.

Cookies will need to be enabled for the opt-out to function. Note: This opt-out applies to a specific browser rather than a specific user. Therefore you will need to opt-out separately from each computer or browser that you use. Additionally, the opt-out applies to web beacons only and not to other tools and cookies used by Yahoo! Search Marketing.

4. Promotions and sweepstakes

From time to time, Yahoo! Search Marketing may sponsor or host promotions and sweepstakes where we collect information about you. Use and sharing of this information will be disclosed in promotion and sweepstakes rules or on the page where you sign-up.

5. IP addresses and information specific to your computer

Yahoo! Search Marketing logs IP information when you visit our Sites. In addition to this information, Yahoo! Search Marketing collects information that your computer's browser automatically reports to us such as information about your operating system and browser version. When your web browser or email application requests a web page or email from another computer on the Internet, it automatically gives that computer the address where it should send the information. This is called your computer's "IP address." (IP stands for "Internet protocol.") For most users accessing the Internet from a dial-up Internet service provider (ISP), the IP address will be different every time you log on. It is, however, possible to trace the use with the assistance of the ISP. Yahoo! Search Marketing receives IP addresses from all users because this information is automatically reported by your browser each time you view a web page.

IP addresses may be used for various purposes, namely to:

• provided targeted advertisements and personalised services to users based on their IP address;
• review fraudulent activity;
• diagnose service or technology problems reported by our users or engineers that are associated with the IP addresses controlled by a specific web company or ISP;
• provide analytics with respect to users from specific countries or regions of the world;
• log a request on our servers when a Yahoo! Search Marketing web page is requested and viewed, with information including the IP address of the computer that requested the page.

II. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Yahoo! Search Marketing may share information about you if Yahoo! Search Marketing is acquired by, acquires or is merged with another company. In this event, Yahoo! Search Marketing will notify you separately before information about you is disclosed and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Yahoo! Search Marketing may (for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy) disclose information about you to its group companies or joint ventures worldwide. More information on Yahoo! group activities and companies is available here: http://info.yahoo.com.

Yahoo! Search Marketing may (for general data management and account administration purposes) also transfer information about you to a jurisdiction, including the United States of America, Japan and Korea, which may not provide the same level of protection for that information as your jurisdiction. Search Marketing has implemented reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, the nature of the Internet is such that information may flow over networks without appropriate security measures and may be accessed and used by unauthorised persons.

Please note that we may also share information in the event that we are asked to respond to court orders or other legal processes, or as otherwise required or permitted by law.

III. Other

Yahoo! Search Marketing may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by placing a prominent notice on this site or contacting you in writing (including by email).

The Sites are not targeted at children and are not intended for use by children under the age of 15.

The provision of information about you is entirely voluntary and you have the right not to provide information, although this may affect your use of the Sites, or Yahoo! products or services.

Subject to applicable law you have the right to receive certain information as to whether or not information about you is collected and processed by Yahoo! Search Marketing and to obtain a copy of such information that is sought. You also have the right to require that information, where appropriate, be erased, blocked or made anonymous (although this may affect your use of the Sites, or Yahoo! products or services) or to have data updated or corrected.

Search Marketing is not responsible for the practices or policies, or content, of web sites other than the Sites or other sites with the Yahoo! domain, including site which link from the Sites or other sites with a Yahoo! domain. The treatment of information by those other sites may not adhere to this Privacy Policy.
