Session 5: Succeeding in a post-Katrina environment »Back
Duration: One hour - Led by Small Business Development Centers of Mississippi
Overview: The rules of business in our region have changed. Your customers have changed. How can you learn who left the area, and who has returned? How do you make contact with former customers? Have new customer groups come to town? What is the current population of your city, county/parish, etc? How do you calculate the new local demographics, or does that even matter?

Your products or services may have changed. Are your "old" product lines the ones you should be offering now?

Your marketing and promotional vehicles may have changed too. How should you promote your business now?

Participate in this seminar and meet Small Business Development Center personnel who are helping businesses answer these questions every day.
